Director Mentoring Circles

 

Purpose and format:

The Director Mentoring Circles are aimed at offering aspiring and recognised Certified Directors the opportunity to interact with Chartered Director (SA) members through an interactive networking session that encourages meaningful engagement and dialogue. This is an interactive 2-hour session where CD(SA)s (the Mentors) facilitate conversations with aspiring and recognises Cert.Dirs (the Mentees) based on a topic that is selected for the particular session.

 

Director Competency Framework alignment:

Participants earn 2 CPD points towards the 'Director Mentoring' category for participating on this event. Attendees are also intended to develop the personal and social competencies included in the Framework namely:

• PC 1: Act in a manner that demonstrates self-knowledge and self-awareness
• PC2: Manage themselves in a manner that contributes to the activities of the board
• SC1: Adapt to environmental needs
• SC2: Interact with fellow board members and management in a manner that is beneficial to the company

 

Cert.Dirs and CD(SA)'s will be invited to register for the upcoming events
