IoDSA Forums


To assist IoDSA members and governance professionals with guidance on fulfilling their roles and responsibilities, the IoDSA has established internal forums and is part of external forums that replicate board committee structures. These forums serve as hubs for specific governance area experts to debate current challenges, raise awareness and create relevant guidance to board and board committee members.

These forums are closed forums and include key stakeholders in the particular industry or governance area as well as specialists in the specific field.

Remuneration Committee Forum

The IoDSA Remuneration Committee Forum, endorsed by the South African Reward Association (SARA), brings together experienced directors and remuneration experts committed to advancing fair and responsible remuneration practices aligned with prevailing governance principles. The Forum develops and shares guidance papers, hosts discussions, and facilitates knowledge exchange on the roles and responsibilities of remuneration committees.

The IoDSA Social and Ethics Committee Forum, endorsed by the Ethics Institute (TEI), brings together experienced directors and Social and Ethics experts committed to achieving social responsibility in business, sustainability issues and ethics in the workplace in line with prevailing governance principles. The Forum develops and shares guidance papers, hosts discussions, and facilitates knowledge exchange on the roles and responsibilities of Social and Ethics committees.
