Governance Research Platform

The IoDSA, in order to support masters and doctoral level students, has created this governance research platform for students to either source research project ideas/topics or to engage with the IoDSA should students require research participation from IoDSA members. 

IoDSA Members are encouraged to participate in surveys and contribute to the research being undertaken. All participation by members can be counted towards CPD.

In order for a project to be showcased on this platform, the following criteria needs to be met:

• the research topic must be a clearly defined governance related topic;
• the student must be registered at an accredited tertiary institution; and
• the research must be for either a Masters or Doctoral level qualification.
  

Students must complete the application form below in order to apply to showcase their project. Applications received will be reviewed to ensure it meets the criteria requirements and notification of outcome will be provided within two weeks of receipt. If an application is accepted, the student will be required to sign an acceptance form committing to obligations stipulated below and only thereafter shall the research project needs will be added to this platform and communicated to IoDSA members.

Students wishing to utlise this platform will be required to issue their high-level findings in an executive summary to the IoDSA for sharing with its members and research library. In addition, students will be required to write an article for the IoDSA Directorship magazine within 6 months of submission of their final thesis.
