IRC SA

The Integrated Reporting Committee of South Africa is a voluntary association not for gain, founded in May 2010. The role of the IRC as a national body is to provide direction on matters relating to integrated reporting and integrated thinking in South Africa through technical information and guidance, conferences and other activities.

30% Club


The IoDSA is proud to support the initiatives of the 30% Club South Africa, whose mission is to reach at least 30% representation of women on all boards and C-suites. The IoDSA is represented on the Steering Committee and actively involved in projects including the provision of mentors for the Board Walks - an initiative that has been created to nurture the development aspiring directors who are currently in senior management positions and help them to unlock their future potential. It aims to expose these individuals to existing directors (both executive and non-executive) and partners during an interactive networking breakfast that will encourage meaningful engagement and dialogue.

CRISA

CRISA has been endorsed by the Institute of Directors in South Africa (IoDSA), the Principal Officers Association (POA), and the Association for Savings and Investment South Africa (ASISA). The principles of CRISA are supported by the Financial Services Board (FSB) and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). The PRI initiative has also expressed its support for the Code.


CRISA applies to institutional investors such as pension funds and insurance companies as the owners of assets, and their service providers including asset managers and consultants. CRISA came into effect from 1 February 2012.
