Note: Individuals cannot write the MCQ's without having attended the relevant programme(s).

Online Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s) modules available for completion:

• Module 1: Being a Director Part 1
• Module 2: Being a Director Part 2
• Module 3: Being a Director Part 3
• Module 4: Being a Director Part 4
• Module 5: Governance of Ethics
• Module 6: Financial Insights for Non-Financial Directors
  

These modules will assess your knowledge gained through the programmes attended and form Part 1 of the path to Certified Director (SA).

Terms of use:

1. MCQ Pass Mark:
   • A pass mark of 70% is required for each set of MCQs.
   • The system will block you once you attained the required pass mark.
2. MCQ Attempts & Results
   • A candidate is allowed two attempts to complete the MCQs per module.
   • Questions are randomised for each attempt, so you might not get the same questions.
   • MCQ results are available immediately upon completion. All results are final, and no correspondence regarding the outcomes will be considered.
3. MCQ Rewrites:
   • Delegates who fail both attempts must apply for a rewrite. Each rewrite allows for two attempts.
   • There is a fee payable for rewrites.
   • Delegates must book online for a MCQ rewrite.
   • Once a delegate registered for a rewrite, they must make payment. Proof of payment emailed to training@iodsa.co.za. Once the payment is allocated by the IoDSA Finance Department, access to the rewrite will be granted.
4. General:
   • Delegates granted exemption for any programme within the Certified Director (SA) designation are not required to complete the MCQs for those exempted programmes.
   • Delegates that fail their  MCQs are encouraged to consider re-attending the relevant training programme to strengthen their understanding.  The normal training programme fee will apply.
   • The IoDSA must verify that candidates attended the full training programme for its full duration before granting access to MCQs.
   • Certified Director (SA) Pathway Programmes are valid for 36 months (3 years) from the date the training was attended.
5. MCQ Completion Integrity Guidelines
   • By accepting these terms, candidates confirm that they will complete the MCQs independently, without assistance from others.
   • Candidates are strictly prohibited from:
     • Sharing MCQ questions/answers with others.
     • Taking screenshots, photographs, or copying the MCQs in any format.
