This programme is aimed at existing or aspirant Chairman of a Board. It assumes prior attendance at IoDSA, Being a Director 1, 2, 3 and 4. This is a knowledge sharing session with practical case studies and discussions to better equip a Chairman to be effective in his/her role.

King Code of Governance principles (King III)

Principle 2.16: The board should elect a chairman of the board who is an independent non-executive director. The CEO of the company should not also fulfill the role of the chairman of the board.
Principle 2.13: The board and directors should report on the effectiveness of the company’s system of internal controls.
