Purpose

The Certified Director was launched as a professional designation by the IoDSA in March 2017.  The designation is awarded to aspiring or less experienced directors that have completed Part 1: Training and MCQs and Part 2: Assessment of the Certified Director programme.

CD(SA)s are awarded the professional designation as recognition of their mastery as practicing directors.

The Director Mentoring Circles are aimed at offering aspiring directors and Certified Directors the opportunity to interact with CD(SA)s through an interactive networking session that encourages meaningful engagement and dialogue.

Format

CD(SA)s will be invited to host a table of 5 – 8 Certified Directors or aspiring directors.  The host is asked to facilitate a conversation that will address challenges and concerns raised by the participants.

A guest speaker will do a short presentation (20 minutes) about a current topic that could be included in this conversation.

The event is scheduled from 09:00 – 11:00 at the IoDSA offices in Sandton.
