Centre for Corporate Governance

The Centre for Corporate Governance exists to promote sound corporate governance in South Africa and to provide the practical know-how in this regard to our members as well the general business society. To this end we offer a wide range of governance services. These include:

•   facilitating board and board committee appraisals and peer evaluations of directors
•   advising on best practice in accordance with the appropriate corporate governance code and best  
    practice industry norms and standards, including assessments and diagnostic gap analysis
•   advising on establishing and implementing ethics and related values frameworks
•   advising on and drafting of charters, mandates and policies
•   development of guidelines and tools on any corporate governance related issues.

In addition to the above, the Centre has under its umbrella various forums that provide a platform for professionals in the corporate governance field to amass their combined knowledge and experience to provide directors and senior executives with guidelines to understand and implement sound governance.
