Board Services

Since the publication of the King Report on Corporate Governance for South Africa 2002, the IoDSA has received an increasing number of requests for guidance and facilitation assistance. The Board Services initiative is a professional consulting service offered to members and the wider business and public sectors.

The services include providing practical guidance on the focus and priorities of boards through Director Development programmes, facilitating board and individual director appraisals, assisting with the construction of balanced boards including identifying credible and competent non-executive directors as well as other board related issues. The initiative will be a truly professional consulting service to members and the wider business and public sectors. The IoDSA Board Appraisal methodology encompasses current global best practices and has the added advantage of being totally independent.
