Dear Professional Body Colleagues,
We invite you to join us in the debate where 3 of SA’s leading RPL experts discuss the relevance of RPL to professional bodies
In terms of the NQF Act and its associated regulations, a duly accredited provider cannot be a duly recognised professional body and further to that, a qualification or part-qualification cannot be a designation. RPL [recognition of prior learning] is generally understood as being applicable to providers and their qualifications.
Is RPL relevant to a professional body and its designations? If it is, how does it apply?
