In light of some uncertainty surrounding the application of good corporate governance in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), the IoDSA has drafted a Governance in SME guide to assist SMEs with the application of corporate governance in their organisations. The Governance in SME guide aims to provide general guidance surrounding the importance, benefits as well as practical implementation of corporate governance in the context of SMEs. As
the focus of the guide is on the desired outcomes to be achieved by adopting
sound corporate governance, the general guidance provided can be easily adapted
and implemented to best suit any size organisation. We trust that this
guidance document will provide SMEs with a good starting point to implementing
corporate governance into their businesses.
