Notice and Agenda of the Annual Review Meeting of members of the Kwazulu Natal Branch of the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa NPC (Non-Profit Company in terms of the Companies Act no 71 of 2008, previously incorporated as an Association in terms of Section 21 of the Companies Act no 61 of 1973, registration number 1985/002734/08), to be held at
17h00 at Durban Country Club, Walter Gilbert Road, Durban.

Annual Review Meeting Agenda

 1. Welcome and approval of Notice of Meeting
2. Attendance register, apologies
3. Approval of the Minutes of the Meeting held on 18 May 2013
4. Past year’s Report of the Branch Chairman
5. Election of Members of the KwaZulu Natal Committee for the ensuing year
6. Any other business
7. Closure


In accordance with the Rules for the establishment and regulation of regional branches of the IoDSA, a member may attend and vote at a general review and shall be entitled to appoint another member to attend and vote on their behalf, provided such proxy is authorized by the member on the appropriate form.

Copies of the Chairman’s Report can be made available on request.
Due to the time constraints, the committee would appreciate prior written notice of the above. 

Some members of the Kwazulu Natal Committee are willing to stand for re-election whilst others have been nominated as per the call for nominations distributed on 8 April 2014. 

RMB economist Etienne Le Roux will do a short presentation on the SA macroeconomic overview.

The rand is weakening and interest rates are rising. What's going on and what can we expect?
